Quality Build, Fit Smaller Than Expected Though
I haven't used them for sparring yet, but I came here to triple-check sizing after mine arrived today. They are high quality material, and appear These fit smaller than expected: I am a 6', 170 lbs, and 10-10.5 US men's shoe size; I ordered the XL expecting it to be a little too large for my feet. Instead, I find that they fit very, very snugly. The Velcro foot-size adjuster on the back is set in the middle, and the large toe guard is keeping my toe from protruding over the end of the step guard. The shin protector stops about 3/4" before my knee cap, so I believe this is the correct size for me. If I had ordered a large, I suspect it would have been far too small. I guess we will see how much elasticity they loose over time. I will be testing these tonight during sparring, and over the next couple of days for a clinic and tournament.
