SMS Privacy Policy

CENTURY is committed to protecting your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy, the “Policy,” governs how we treat the Personal Information that we collect and receive from you in connection with your use of the SMS messaging service, the “Service,” which we make available to you through a third-party service provider. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. CENTURY reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or change this Policy at any time, with or without prior notice to you. The date of the last update will be posted at the top of this Policy for your convenience. This Policy, and any changes, are effective as soon as posted. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to the Policy constitutes your full acceptance of those changes.
“Personal Information” is information that individually identifies you, such as your mobile phone number or user/screen name, as well as any Personal Information that you choose to include in messages you send through the Service.
What Personal Information is collected about you
Through your use of the Service, CENTURY may receive the following information from our third-party service provider: your mobile phone number when you opt in to or send a text message through the Service, any user or screen name that you select in connection with the Service, and any comments, feedback, or message content regarding the Service that you send to us.
How CENTURY uses Personal Information about you
We use Personal Information to:
- Provide you with the Service;
- Process and respond to inquiries;
- Improve the Service;
- Contact you with important announcements or messages;
- Send transactional and marketing text messages, including order updates, promotional offers, reminders, and abandoned cart notifications;
- Maintain records of consent where required; and
- Conduct research and improve our customer experience.
Each message that you send through the Service may be stored on our servers or on servers managed by third-party service providers. CENTURY utilizes servers and services owned by third parties.
Disclosure of your information
CENTURY will not share phone numbers collected for SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
We may use or disclose certain information in the following limited circumstances:
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights, the legal rights of others, or defend against legal claims.
- We believe it is necessary to share Personal Information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of CENTURY’s Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
- We transfer Personal Information about you if CENTURY, or its assets, are acquired by or merged with another company.
- We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, such as SMS delivery platforms, provided they are acting on our behalf.
Security
CENTURY takes precautions to help protect the security of your Personal Information, including working with third-party service providers that are expected to protect the security of your Personal Information. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel will not gain access to your Personal Information despite our efforts.
You should note that when using the Service, your information will travel through third-party infrastructures that are not under our control, such as a third-party SMS delivery platform or your carrier network.
We cannot protect, nor does this Policy apply to, any information that you transmit to other users. You should never transmit personal or identifying information to other users.
Opting in
A mobile user may opt in to the Service by:
- Filling out a form online;
- Responding to an email;
- Sending a Mobile Originating, or MO, message;
- Providing verbal approval during a phone conversation; or
- Otherwise providing consent through an approved opt-in method.
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and transactional text messages from CENTURY. These messages may include order updates, account or service notifications, promotional offers, reminders, and abandoned cart notifications.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out
You may opt out of text messages at any time for any reason.
To opt out, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at customerservice@centurymartialarts.com.
When you opt out, please allow up to 3 days for processing. After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message. We reserve the right to send certain communications relating to the Service, such as administrative or legally required messages, where permitted by law.
SMS Marketing Disclosures
CENTURY may send SMS messages that include marketing and promotional content, as well as transactional messages such as order updates, service notifications, reminders, and abandoned cart messages.
If you add items to your shopping cart and do not complete your purchase, you may receive reminder messages via SMS to help you complete your order, where permitted by law and based on your consent status.
We maintain records of user consent where required and comply with applicable laws and regulations related to commercial electronic messaging.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and CENTURY does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.
Children aged 13 or older should not submit any Personal Information without the permission of their parents or guardians. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are at least 13 years old and have your parent’s or guardian’s permission to use the Service.
Intended audience
CENTURY requires that users of this Service be limited to U.S. residents only.
