Way to big
This is the second time Ive had this gi, and had the same problem both times. Ive ordered and A2, per the sizing chart. The pants are at least 3 inches to long, and the top is a bit big. Its as though its an A3.
Nice looking, poorly made
I really liked the design and fit of the gi. However, the jacket tore after about three months of once/twice a week training. It ripped open from under my armpit down my ribs and now all I have are the pants.
Spider Monkey tears easily.
I purchased 4 Spider Monkey gi's that I put into my 12 Gi rotation about 8 months ago. I've used the Spider Monkey gi for light training, but when I used it for competition training, the gi tore and fell apart. It started with the sleeves, as my practice pertners used their grips on my sleeves to control me in their guard or sweep me, the sleeves tore wide open. We we're into our training session and continued to grapple. When my partner grabbed the back of my gi to pull himself around me, the back of the gi ripped completely across the back. I just chalked it up to a defective gi and did not call century since the gi was purchased at my wholesale price. Last week, idid some serious training in one of my other Spider Monkey gis and the same thing happened. The sleeves ripped when vigorously pulled on and the back ripped just like the other one. I called Century and sent them photos. They told me it was past the warranty. This week I will train in the remaining 2 Spider Monkey gi's I own. If they tear like the previous 2 have, I will call Century and send them photos. At this point I would not recommend the Spider Monkey gi for training. It's a great gi for teaching, but it will not hold up to any serious training. Don't buy this gi for serious training, it tears to easy. BJJ Gi spider monkey
I love this Gi. I also have a Mongoose, and a Caiman, but the Spider monkey is hands down my favorite. I really like the fit of the top and the reinforced cuffs are super slick. It's ibjjf approved and the color options are just amazing. Enhance your life and unleash your Spider Monkey.

The Gi is superb. Very nice. Only it's not as advertised. There is not Japanese kanji for "Jujutsu" embroidered on the arm, nor is the "Century" logo at the base of the jacket on the back as advertised.
Other than that, very nice Gi. Just wish you were selling the items as advertised in the pics. While it is a very nice uniform, if I'd have known these facts, I would have went with one of the lower priced models.
