2021 Review
I bought these since I liked the okinawan style better than the other model but it was a risk based on the reviews. Might be good luck or they improved the tonfas based on the reviews but mine came perfect. No issues with handle angles or glue. They do look a notch lighter stain wise than in the photos but that is not a big deal at all. One thing that was confusing on the site was if the length was the whole tonfa or to the handle. The length is the whole tonfa length.

Very pleased
Handles were secured tightly and straight, nice natural wood colour. Nice and light Weight. No complaints at all about this product. I definitely would recommend this product.

Okinawan Tonfa
Two things I have to tell about them. I ordered two pair, one for myself and one for my son. My son's pair are a much better product than mine. My pair were poorly made. Of my pair, one is fair but the other is horrible. Handle was drilled wrong, lots of wood putty was put on it. It can't stand on its own because the handle is leaning about 15 degrees off the top of the body. In practice (non-hitting) I cracked the putty that was put around the massive gap. I did quickly replace it with a much more expensive pair and I took it in the shorts on this pair. I bought the 19.5" pair and my sons is the 18". I think if anyone is going to buy a pair, you are purchasing at your own risk. I do buy other items from Century, I just won't buy another pair of tonfa from them.

Horrible Quality.
Do not buy these. Where the handles go on there’s so much glue around them, it’s cracked and looks like it’s about to fall off. Will be returning because quality is awful. Very disappointed.

Okinawan Tonfa
Let me preface this review by saying I really wanted to like these. Then I received them. They looked great in the bag, but when unwrapped they are covered in some type of horrible sticky lacquer that feels like plastic. Also where the handles are inserted in the shaft there is so much glue that it ran down the sides of the tonfa and was then lacquered in place. The whole feel of them is plastic and cheap. I am going to attempt to sand them, varnish them with a quality product and give them to my son for practice in class. Personally I am going to order the tournament tonfa and hope they are of a higher quality.
