Graphite Corded Nunchaku

Item No. 123431, Graphite Corded Nunchaku, is horrible. Do not purchase. The description states that it is “A lightweight and durable nunchaku composed of long-lasting graphite. Features a 1-inch cord attachment and sleek finish....” at a cost of $49.99. This item is the worst nunchaku I have ever bought or used. It is worthless, defective, and will cause harm to anyone using this weapon or to someone in close proximity. I have been a martial arts student for 27 years and have used nunchakus for 25 years and can confidently say, “Don’t use these weapons.” In December, my husband and I purchased four of these at a cost of $49.99 EACH and are seeking a refund for the following reasons: 1) Your item description is false. It does not consist of graphite. It is compressed wood with a fine overlay of graphite. Your product descriptions mentions nothing about the wood. 2) It is defective and will cause harm. The top, through which the nylon cord passes, is trimmed at an angle . Then the overlay of graphite creates yet a sharper edge which cuts into the cord with each movement. After the first minute of use, the cord began to fray. 3) The cost of $49.99 is outrageous not only because of the wood composition but also because of the dangerous edge. Several students with American Freestyle Karate purchased this item, and I hope that all of us are able to obtain a refund from Century Martial Arts.
