Drawstring pants are a no go for kids
This would be our go-to student gi for kids if the pants were an elastic waist. The 6 ounce gis are too flimsy and these are noticeably better but the drawstring is universally disliked by youth students and parents.

These are excellent for kids who will grow out of them long before they'd wear out.

Excellent Value - Great Uniform
As an instructor of Tang Soo Do, I have been ordering this uniform for my students for over 5 years. I have had students that have been using the traditional white uniform at all belt levels, white to black. I would highly recommend this uniform for any student who wants a nice weight uniform that looks good and can handle the basics to ground work. many of my assistant instructors still wear the top after reaching black belt level. (We change the pant color at black belt ). Hope you have found this informational to help make decisions.
