I have purchased several of these chest protectors. Absolute best guard for children to adult. It's adjustable for growth. The shoulder pads are extra protection and make the weight comfortable. The first issue was sizing, the description was not clear, this was a new product at the time and the guide was for a general measurement. I needed to research it on my own. Thankful the first item I did order was adjustable, it was fitted to the smallest fit and will be in use for a while. Happy moms!
