I have been using Nunchaku since 1966 . through the years my Nunchaku dissapeared . So i bought this set about a year ago and i am very happy with them . They are all that i need and still carry.
  • Correct measurements
It's really nice to see that someone cares about the details. The reversal of grip required for Dan kata/forms and most certainly for upstroke in combat, is correctly measured here. I see chain swivels everywhere that are pure garbage. I'm trying to clear the garbage off of Amazon where you should be in selling these things in the millions. This is the correct one to learn on after the foam. Do not attempt to spar with these and be careful of the back of your head. The octagon is the best weapon because of the formula P equals F/A. The round ones are cute and lovely, but this one actually breaks the skull or bone. The no nonsense nylon rolls smoothly of of the back of your hand. When using the inside thigh return, beware. The hip roll is beautifully balanced because of the good weight. I don't recommend the 14 inch to anyone under 6 foot two.
  • Great
It's the best nunchaku I ever had in years...

These are a very good set of Nunchaku... They are everything i expect them to be...
  • Great weight.
They are great for the price. The only problem was that they had been glued. Not the way I was taught . The pull of the overlapping string makes them stay tight. I chained with with an expensive nylon Sneaker lace. I have been practicing different Actions of doing this. My TAO is the simpler the better. LOL. They are worth it. Just retread them
  • Good quality nunchaku
I've been practicing nunchaku katas for about 4 years now. Have even build my own pair of nunchakus. Bought 2 pairs of these nunchakus about a year ago. Still intact. Still in one piece. Still swinging. Very good quality, very decent product. If you're training with nunchakus I definitely recommend this pair as a starter
