About Me: I started karate at age four and began competing at age six. I hold multiple world titles in both Traditional and C/M/X Forms and Weapons. I have two individual gold medals and one team gold medal from the 2007 East/ West Martial Arts Olympics, St. Petersburg Russia, and five gold medals from 2009 WKA Championships, Punta Umbria Spain. I appeared in a short film called "Sweet Tooth", did a Nickelodeon/Kraft Macaroni and Cheese commercial, appeared in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and received a citation from the United States Congress for Sportsmanship. I’m the proud coach of Team Epic in Hicksville, NY. Several of my students have gone on to win national titles and three are competing in the black belt division this year. I am a freshman at Hofstra University on Long Island majoring in Exercise Science with plans to continue on to graduate school to become a physical therapist. It has been a lifelong goal of mine to represent Team Paul Mitchell Karate. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to be part of this legacy and to represent Century Martial Arts and their commitment to bring the best products to the martial arts community.

Fav. Century Product: Super Bands

Fun Facts: I never learned how to ride a bicycle!

Started Martial Arts Because: When I was three years old I saw a Gap commercial. There was a boy doing karate and really cool flips. I knew right then I wanted to start karate. Later, I actually become teammates with that boy, James Solis!

How Has Martial Arts changed your life?: Martial arts has given me opportunities that not a lot of people get to experience. I’ve been fortunate enough to teach and perform for martial artists all around the world.
