He won 1st place in the '98 Rio De Janeiro State Championships and was the '97 National Champion, 3rd place '96 World Championships and '95 and '97 Rio De Janeiro State Champion. He competed in the invitation only 2001 and 2003 Abu Dhabi Combat Championships. His No Holds Barred record is 2-0 and has trained under Fernando Cruz, Victor Ribiero and Rento Verrissimo.
