Meredith Gold came to the world of reality based self defense and empowerment as a result of surviving an attempted abduction when she was a teenager.

She has been teaching Adrenal Stress Scenario Training (ASST) programs since 1992, having worked with the Impact Personal Saftey organization in Los Angeles, as well as Peyton Quinn's Rocky Mountain Combat Applications Training (RMCAT) in Colorado.

Meredith's primary focus has always been women's self defense and empowerment training, but as a contributing editor for Black Belt Magazine (who named her their Woman of the Year for 2003), she has been able to reach a new audience and expand her program to incorporate a variety of martial arts applications.

In 2000 Meredith and her husband Michael Belzeer started the R-A-W Power program, offering training for men, women and teens. These self defense skills and drills are a perfect component designed for any martial arts curriculum. Two volumes to choose from.
